Turkish actor Can Yaman and five others were detained by police in Istanbul during raids on entertainment venues as part of an anti-drug operation. They were taken to the police station, reports the newspaper Hürriyet. Yaman, famous for international soap operas like 'Pájaro soñador', 'Sandokan', 'El Turco', and the Spanish series 'El laberinto de las mariposas', was found in possession of narcotics during the raid. Although the Public Prosecutor had not issued an arrest warrant for Yaman in this operation, he was detained on the spot. The detainees are being tested for drug use through hair, blood, or urine samples. The operation is part of a wave of raids and arrests targeting the consumption of cocaine, with dozens of artists, social media personalities, journalists, and business figures being questioned in recent weeks.
