Yesterday, the Anadolu agency reported that a Turkish court officially issued an arrest warrant for the mayor from the opposition Republican People's Party on charges of machinations with tenders in the context of a campaign against opposition activities by the government. According to the agency's information, affiliated with the government, the police detained the mayor of the Beykoz district in Istanbul, Aladdin Koseleira, on the prosecution's orders. During the investigation into this case, 22 people were questioned, of whom 13, including Koseleira, were declared wanted on charges of machinations with tenders and involvement in a criminal organization, while other nine were released under a non-disclosure agreement.
