Data from the Turkish Statistical Institute showed that the labor force participation rate rose by 0.3 percentage points to 52.6% in February. Meanwhile, the indicator measuring underutilization of the labor force increased by 0.1 percentage points to 29.9% after seasonal adjustment. Official data released on Tuesday also revealed that Turkey's unemployment rate rose by 0.3 percentage points on a monthly basis to 8.5% in last February.
