Fenerbahçe's coach, José Mourinho, suffered a knee injury during a training session with the Turkish club when he was knocked down by one of his own players, İsmail Yüksek. In a video shared by Mourinho, Yüksek can be seen colliding with him from behind while he was walking among the players. As a result, Mourinho had to be assisted by the medical staff to leave the field.

Regarding the incident, Mourinho posted a message stating: "Lesson for young coaches: never dress in the same color as the players. They might pass you the ball... or hit you from behind."

According to the Turkish network NTV, Mourinho suffered a minor injury to his right knee, but he will be available for his team's next match. Currently, Fenerbahçe is in third place in the Turkish Super League for the 2024-2025 season, with 20 points after 10 rounds, having won six matches, drawn two, and lost one, with one match pending.
