Akın Gürle, the Chief Public Prosecutor of Istanbul, was appointed as the new Minister of Justice, replacing Yılmaz Tunç. Erdogan also appointed the Governor of Erzurum, Mustafa Çavuşoğlu, as the new Minister of Interior, replacing Ali Yerlikaya.
