The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed today, on Tuesday, the agreement between the democratic forces of Syria (SDF) and the new Syrian administration, declaring that "the 'victors' in this agreement are all Syrians."
"This agreement between the SDF and the Syrian administration, without a doubt, represents an important step in the direction of regulating the situation in Syria," noted the president.
Erdoğan added that the parties must adhere to this agreement and not allow violations of the ceasefire, which currently takes place in some areas of Syria.
"Like Turkey, we are ready to support any initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region," the president emphasized.
