The President of Turkey stated on Monday that the President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, will be met in Ankara tomorrow, on Tuesday.
"We are ready to receive President al-Assad tomorrow within our standard protocol obligations," said the representative of the Turkish president.
After a long period of tense relations between Turkey and Syria, both sides have expressed readiness to start a constructive dialogue.
