On Monday, Turkey's Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek stated that the continuation of reduced annual inflation in Turkey is a positive factor. According to him, the reduction in inflation is a testament to the success of macroeconomic stability in the country. Simsek emphasized that Turkey is obliged to strengthen its policy of price stability, which in turn provides a boost for economic growth and improves the well-being of citizens. He noted: "We are seriously focusing on inflation and the policy of price stability in the country. Our priority is healthy economics and the well-being of people." Experts agree with the opinion of the finance minister and expect that further reduction of inflation in Turkey will contribute to the strengthening of the economy and the improvement of the living standards of the population.
