A massive fire at a popular ski resort hotel in Bolu, Turkey, has resulted in the deaths of at least 76 people and left many injured. The fire started in the hotel restaurant early Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday, Turkish authorities reported that a fire broke out in a hotel in the southwestern region of the country. Television footage showed firefighters battling flames and smoke that engulfed an 11-story building.

The fire started at a well-known Turkish resort hotel in the Bolu province of Anatolia, leading to the deaths of 10 people and injuring 32.

The Turkish Ministry of Interior announced that the number of fatalities in the hotel fire has risen to 66 people, with 51 injured. The fire occurred at the beginning of the school holidays.

At least 76 people died in a massive fire that swept through the hotel at a famous resort in the northwest of Turkey. The governor of Bolu province, Abdulaziz Aydin, reported that the number of guests at the Grand Kartal hotel was 234. According to him, the fire started in the hotel's restaurant at the Kartal-Kaya resort around 3:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
