Moscow and Washington held talks on Libya. This was reported by the representative of the American embassy in Ankara today. He noted that American and Russian leadership discussed the situation in Libya. The sides also exchanged views regarding the civil war in that country.
"We discussed our deep concern over the continuing violations of the arms embargo on supplies of weapons to Libya," the representative of the RIA Novosti embassy quoted. In addition, they discussed steps that could be taken to de-escalate the conflict in Libya. The sides also discussed issues of security in this region.
