The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, stated on Tuesday after a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in the presidential complex in Ankara.

The discussion of bilateral issues took place against the backdrop of strengthening relations between the two countries. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed hope for further development of cooperation on key issues.

"Our relations with Ukraine continue to develop, and recently we held high-level political consultations. I am confident that our meeting with President Zelensky once again reaffirms our resolve to strengthen our partnership in various fields," noted the President of Turkey.

Erdoğan's statement after negotiations with the head of Ukraine emphasizes the importance of joint initiatives in the fields of security, defense, and economics for strengthening strategic partnership between Ankara and Kyiv.
