Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadiruraloglu stated in a comment to Anadolu that conversations between pilots in the cockpit indicate an electrical failure in two generators. He added that the aircraft was in constant contact with the control tower before and after the emergency call and that it had experienced an electrical malfunction. Turkey revealed on Wednesday the black box recordings of the Libyan plane that crashed in Ankara, which was carrying a Libyan military delegation including Chief of Staff Mohamed Haddad on December 23, 2025. The recordings showed a technical failure in two generators, noting the surprise that the accident could have been avoided. It was reported that the pilots requested to return to the airport and used the special emergency call signal in aviation.
